The Sermon today was Murder an Issue of the Heart and Mind

Murder is the self-centeredness of passionate carnality,  a premeditation (intent).
To Kill is what a Soldier does protecting his Country or a Policeman protecting his fellow man, that is the difference between Murder and to Kill.

Cain's sin manifested itself in a sullen, selfish hatred that ended up in murder.


Ex, 20:13 “You shall not murder.



Numbers 35:16 “‘If anyone strikes someone a fatal blow with an iron object, that person is a murderer; the murderer is to be put to death.”



Numbers 35:17 Or if anyone is holding a stone and strikes someone a fatal blow with it, that person is a murderer; the murderer is to be put to death.



Matt 15:19   For out of the heart come evil thoughts—murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander.



Matt 5:21-22  “You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ‘You shall not murder,[a] and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.’ 22 But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister[b][c] will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister, ‘Raca,’“one who brings forth an evil name” is answerable to the court. And anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell.



John 8:44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.



Romans 1:29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips.

Sundays Sermon was "Honoring Our Heavenly Father"

Today we honored our Fathers as well as our Heavenly Father.

Fathers Day 2016 is one day out of 365, one day out of 29,200 if we live to be 80 years old!
For many there are mixed emotions, some very strong. How do we relate to our father and mother, how do we relate to our Heavenly Father.
Turn the situation around -- How are we relating to our  Heavenly Father.

Is there little communication?
Is it cheap honor?
Do we express gratitude and thanks!
How about our understanding and emotional needs.

Do not blame your own parents, yes they may have been abusive because they were abused.

Do not blame your Kids - Grand Kids as they are products of the most self-focused society in history!

But the GOOD NEWS is that we have Jesus - we have God the Father and we have God in the Holy Spirit!

The Jesus Film

 Sunday was a special day with Pastor Muazzam John. All three services in the Grove area that Pastor Muazzam John spoke at went very well. A great Pot Luck was served after the service. Pastor John, Robert Carter and Pastor Kim Wenzel  were on KWXC 88.9 FM at noon. The Medical Supply Packs were delivered to The Voice Of The Martyrs in Bartlesville. Thanks for your prayers, and efforts to help with these projects and a big Thank You to all who helped with the Pot Luck!

This Mornings sermon was “Return of Jesus”

Several years ago Johnny Carson had Billy Graham as a guest on his show. At one point there was a lull in the conversation and Johnny said, "You know what Billy, I bet if Jesus ever came back to earth, I bet we’d do him in again!"
Billy Graham leaned forward in his seat, and said,
"In the Bible we read that Jesus predicted that He would return to earth again. But the first time He came in love. The next time, He’ll come in Power  AND NO ONE WILL DO HIM IN!”

Rev 19: 11-16  I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no-one knows but he himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God.
The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. ‘He will rule them with an iron sceptre.’ He treads the wine press of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty.
On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.”

In Matthew 26:64 Jesus told the High Priest and Sanhedrin:
“I say to all of you: In the future you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven."

Jude tells us "The Lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones to judge everyone, and to convict all the ungodly of all the ungodly acts they have done in the ungodly way, and of all the harsh words ungodly sinners have spoken against him.” Jude 14 & 15



2 Peter 3:11-15 Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives 12 as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming.[a] That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat.
