“Forgiveness Pt 3-Tools of God ”

     Freedom in Christ Jesus
Galatians 5:1 NIV
1 It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

Tool of Forgiveness Breaks the yoke of bitterness, and the spirit of revenge. Forgiveness allows us to remain in freedom and move closer to Jesus and break the yoke of slavery.

     Judging Others
Luke 6:37 NIV
³⁷ “Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.

It is EASY to step out of Freedom and back into the Yoke of Slavery! Forgive those who have caused you to step back into the Yoke of Slavery, then you will be forgiven also.

     Have Faith in God

Mark 11:22-25 NIV
²² “Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. ²³ “Truly^[f] I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. ²⁴ Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. ²⁵ And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins." 

And you will have broken the Yoke of Slavery.

 Day The Lord Has Made
Some may say, it's just another day, but it's more than that You see, this is the day The Lord has made, that's a fact
We didn't earn or buy this time because it was given in love What we do with it is a choice that will be judged up above
It's so important to spend it seeking Gods perfect will So the steps we take are true not just looking for another thrill
I'll do my best to be a blessing to others along the way Share His grace and mercy with deeds, is what I pray
With strength of His spirit and forgiveness in my heart May He lead, guide, and direct me through a world so dark
Take time to praise God for his goodness and the gift of life May you find peace as you battle through the strife
The time will come that's only the beginning of things to come I pray to see you there when all is said and done.
